Open Access Week Events, 23rd-27th October 2017
The 10th International Open Access week runs from 23rd to 27th October 2017. Here in Aberystwyth, we will be looking to run the following sessions to enable staff to be ‘Open in order to…’, the theme of the 2017 OA week:
PURE Training: OA outputs for REF‘2021’
Wednesday 25th October: 12:45- 13:45; G24 Cledwyn (Booking through CDSAP)
This short session will enable individuals to familiarise themselves with PURE, the University’s current research information system (CRIS), and how it can be utilised to prepare for REF‘2021’ including, the fulfilment of HEFCE’s Open Access requirements. It will entail a short presentation on the system and hands-on interaction for individual attendees.
PURE ‘How-to’ Drop-In Sessions
Previously attended a PURE training session but can’t quite remember which button to push when? Unclear on OA options or deposit requirements? Want to find out about recording other content types- research data, activities, etc.?
1-2-1, informal discussion on how to utilise PURE. Aimed at those who have previously attended a PURE training session but need a refresher or some follow-on guidance.
