Certificate in Higher Education: Ecology

The Certificate in Ecology is a part time, flexible scheme, which allows learners to complete at their own pace.

A certificate in higher education is made up of 120 credits and the majority of our modules are worth 10 credits. The certificate is the same number of credits as the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree scheme and equivalent to the same level of study (Level 4 in the National Qualifications Framework).

The knowledge and skills gained are those essential for any job in the environmental field, providing hands on experience and developing identification skills.

You have five years to complete your studies and within that time you can take the courses at your own pace.  Not all courses are on offer each year, but we will ensure that all the courses are made available over a period of time.
