Sports Centre Membership for National Library Members
Our sports and recreational facilities are designed for the enjoyment of people of all ages, fitness levels and abilities. The Sports Centre is a short 5 minute walk from the National Library, and you should be be able to come and along at the start or end of day, or fit a workout into you lunchtime. We are open early so that you can do your workout and get a shower before work, and then stay open till 9pm, if you prefer your workout at the end of the day. We have secure cycle pods you can use, a 400m running/jogging track and a sauarium on site if you wish to unwind the busy day....

Basic Membership
Welcome to free use of indoor and outdoor sports areas and discounted rates to the gym, pool, classes and Box Rox.

Gold Cards
Gold Cards are set up so that you pay in advance for your workout - you can do this monthly through your salary and save the hassle of having to bring cash to the Centre. The monthly payment covers you for unlimited visits your favourite area - you can chose a Gold Card for one area only. Gym Gold allows you access to the three gyms. Pool Gold for unlimited swimming session - or upgrade to Spa Gold and get use of the saunarium as well. The Exercise Gold allows you to attend any of our FitTogether classes. Spin Gold for Spinning sessions only. For the dedicated Sports Centre user, we have the Platinum Card, that allows you access to all of these areas - so you can chose from day to day.
Your Gold Card must run in line with your membership, but you are able to buy one pro-rata at any time during the year for a small admin fee. If you are thinking of getting a Gold Card, then phone the Membership Office for more advice, or come along to the Sports Centre and speak to one of our staff who will be able to help you.

Your Sports Centre membership details are accessed by your swipe card, so please bring it with you when you come to the Sports Centre. The staff at Reception will swipe your card on each and every visit.
