REVISION AND ASSESSMENT PERIOD 2025/2026

The semester one assessments and examinations will start on MONDAY 5 JANUARY 2026 and finish on SATURDAY 23 JANUARY 2026.

Special Circumstances
If your module assessments are affected by Special circumstances (unexpected and uncontrollable events) that negatively affect your ability to perform academically and complete assessments. You must formally report you Special Circumstances to the University so that they may be considered by the University to ensure fair treatment during exams or coursework assessments. 

To complete a Special circumstances request you should log on to your Student Record on the web and click on the ‘Special Circumstances’ card on the homepage. From there, you’ll be able to create a request by answering a series of questions. Please ensure you respond fully and clearly, so the University has all the information it needs to make a decision.

You are encouraged to report special circumstances as soon as your performance in an assessment has been affected, and you MUST do so by the end of the assessment period.

Semester One Results:

Following the Examination Boards your Semester One results will be posted to your “Student Record”  https://studentrecord.aber.ac.uk on the web for you to access. Results will be available as follows:

PART ONE (Year One):  Thursday 12 February

PART TWO (Year Two and above), VISITING AND EXCHANGE STUDENTS:  Thursday 19 February
