A Diploma/MSc candidate who achieves above 50% in the
examinations may choose to accept a University Diploma or to
complete this project for an MSc in Computer Science.

- Assessment is by dissertation. Submission will normally be

- This project is started after the Semester 2 examinations
and continues through the summer vacation.
Aims
The purpose of the module is to bring together the
practical skills and the theoretical understanding that the
student will have gained during the taught part of the
course.
Objectives
This module consists of a major piece of software development
work to be carried out by the student. It will include
identification of requirements, design, implementation, and
evaluation.
