Assessment
Assessment is by dissertation. Submission will normally be required by the end of August.
Timing
This project is started after the Semester 2 examinations and continues through the summer vacation.

Aims

The purpose of the module is to bring together the practical skills and the theoretical understanding that the student will have gained during the taught part of the course.

Objectives

This module consists of a major piece of software development work to be carried out by the student. It will include identification of requirements, design, implementation, and evaluation.

There is no group teaching element to this module. Regular individual meetings with a supervisor are required.
