Project Partners

The consortium comprises three of Europe's major car manufacturers (DaimlerChrysler, Fiat and Volvo), two of the main suppliers (Bosch and Magneti Marelli) and a significant manufacturer of automotive diagnostic equipment (GenRad). To implement the latest in model based diagnosis the consortium relies on the knowledge coming from the top European scientists in the field from three universities (Torino, Paris Nord and Aberystwyth). Thomson-CSF Detexis will be able to add to the experience gained with the application of diagnosis in the aerospace industry.
