Biography

Dr Elizabeth New is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, and works on aspects of the social and religious history of England and Wales in the later middle ages. She has particular interest in the form, function and uses of medieval seals, and is Senior Researcher for the AHRC funded Seals in Medieval Wales project.
