Before You Apply

Reading and understanding this information carefully means that your application to Aberystwyth should be a smooth process.

Apply Online

Applying online for a postgraduate degree is a fast and easy way to provide all the information our admissions staff need in order to consider your application. You can use our Postgraduate Application Portal for research degres and most taught master's degrees, postgraduate diplomas and certificates and professional courses at Aberystwyth, even if you are applying to study full-time, part-time or for distance learning. Try to have your documents saved as pdf files ready to attach to your on-line application or if submitting via e-mail afterwards. 

Please note that applications for PGCE Teacher Training positions are made through the UCAS Teacher Training website.

If you prefer to apply by post or email, or wish to apply for a programme for which it is compulsory to apply offline then please refer to the guidelines below.  If submitting via e-mail, please try to attach documents as separate pdf files.

After you apply

Once your application has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you have applied on-line, you will also receive acknowledgement by e-mail.
