Apply Online

Applying online for a postgraduate degree is a fast and easy way to provide all the information our admissions staff need in order to consider your application. You can use our  Postgraduate Application Portal for research degrees and most taught master's degrees, postgraduate diplomas and certificates and professional courses at Aberystwyth, even if you are applying to study full-time, part-time or for distance learning. Try to have your documents saved as pdf files ready to attach to your on-line application or if submitting via e-mail afterwards. 

Our postgraduate programmes will be listed on our Courses pages. If you cannot find your particular course there, please contact the Postgraduate Admissions Office.There are several courses that we deal with that may not be listed on our Courses pages. However, you can still use the Postgraduate Application Portal to apply for the following:

Please select DProf as the qualification when applying on the application portal. The Course Code depends on the subject area that you wish to investigate during the research element of the DProf programme. Our current list may be expanded to other subject areas.

If you prefer to apply by post or email, or wish to apply for a programme for which it is compulsory to apply offline then please refer to the guidelines below.  If submitting via e-mail, please try to attach documents as separate pdf files.

Once your application has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you have applied on-line, you will also receive acknowledgement by e-mail.
