Dr Ivaldi’s research interests are in the fields of music psychology and social interaction, in particular, analysing talk in musical contexts. Previous topics of interest have included adolescents’ musical engagement, role models, and musical identities.Additional Interests
Dr Ivaldi is an Associate Editor for the online journal Music Performance Research, and was Chair of the Music, Identity and Social Interaction Conference held at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester. Antonia is also a Chartered Psychologist.
