TFTS and National Theatre of Wales Collaboarative Doctoral Award!

Dr Jamie Medhurst has been awarded a Research Networking grant from the AHRC worth almost £34,000

The international network entitled 'British quality, American chaos? Transnational discourses and interactions in the history of British and North American broadcasting, c.1922-1962' will draw together scholars, researchers and archivists from the UK, North America and beyond.

Film by TFTS Lecturer, John Burgan, to be shown at the BFI Southbank & Aberystwyth Arts Centre

In October the British Film Institute in London will be showing 'Memory Of Berlin' (1998) written and directed by TFTS Lecturer John Burgan.

Department Remembers Catrin

On 13 July 2009, the Department welcomed the family, friends and colleagues of Dr Catrin Prys Jones to an event to mark the establishment of a prize in memory of Catrin who died in 2006.
