Welcome to the Language Resource Centre

The Language Resource Centre is a multimedia computer facility supporting modern languages taught in various departments and units at Aberystwyth University. The LRC is a complete language learning facility equipped with the latest multimedia equipment and two state of the art computer laboratories to facilitate the language learning experience. Students work interactively with computer and web-based materials which allow them to experience foreign language acquisition as a living and exciting process.

PC’s are available for your use at any time as long as a lecture is not taking place in the room (see the time table or consult the LRC technician)

Opening hours:

Monday - Friday: 9.00-18.30

Both Lab 1 and Lab 2 are accessible via (library card swipe lock) 24/7

NB Access to the Language Resource Centre teaching material is RESTRICTED to staff and students of the University of Aberystwyth and most audio and video files are available only in the Language Resource Centre.
