Department publishes article in Western Mail

On the 3rd May an article was published in the Western Mail on the topic of Vitamin D in relation to health. The piece was co-written by Dr Rhys Thatcher and Ffion Curtis a second year PhD student. It discussed some of the facts and myths regarding the so called "sunshine vitamin".

Under the supervision of Dr Thatcher Ffion is currently conducting a series of studies exploring the role of vitamin D in relation to type 2 diabetes. You can read the full aricle published in the Western Mail here
