Devolution and the New Legislative Bodies in the UK (since 1997)

Compiled by Jacqueline Woollam on behalf of the Centre for Welsh Legal Affairs, Department of Law, Aberystwyth University. The Centre for Welsh Legal Affairs is pleased to present this bibliography on Devolution and the New Legislative Bodies in the UK. We hope that it will be a useful tool for researchers and others interested in the process of devolution and the working of the new legislative bodies.

The bibliography is primarily concerned with secondary sources, including articles, books and reports, which relate to the process of devolution within the United Kingdom and to the working of the various legislative/executive bodies which have been set up within the United Kingdom, namely the National Assembly for Wales, the Scottish Parliament, the Northern Ireland Assembly and the Greater London Authority.

The bibliography starts with publications in 1997 and is updated on a quarterly basis on this website. The most recent year's list is published in the Cambrian Law Review.
