Profile

I am an agro-ecologist and microbiologist whose main interests are in the impacts of agriculture on biodiversity, aspects of species conservation, and global biodiversity conservation. I also teach modules about the food supply system and its impact on the environment. I have over 30 years experience teaching across the complete range of courses delivered by the Institute. My spare time is spent hill walking, listening to a wide range of music, and attending events at the AU Arts Centre.
