Applying for access to Information Services: students

Welcome to Information Services (IS).

We provide access to the University libraries, e-mail and computing facilities to all registered students and staff at Aberyswyth University.

Access to some or all IS facilities may also be offered to certain other categories of user, for example visitors,  users working on projects with the University or delegates attending conferences and events at the University. 

All access is subject to Information Services Regulations and Guidelines in accordance with University policy.

How do I start to use IS facilities

• Student Union clubs and societies
• Distance learners
• Postgraduate student access in “Writing up” period
• Existing students (undergraduates and postgraduates)
• Graduates (AU)
• Lifelong learning students
• New students (undergraduates and postgraduates)
• Open University students
• Summer access for ex AU undergraduates about to become AU postgraduates
• Summer access for undergraduates taking resits
• Temporary withdrawn students
• Visiting students
