Bronwen Bray, MSc Equine Science

Lecturer and Teaching learning leader, Oaklands College

"My current role centers around teaching science, nutrition and related aspects to FE and HE students. I am also a HND land-based NVQ assessor and verifier. I am part of a small team focused on improving the quality and standard of teaching and learning across the college. I am also part of the curriculum audit team on observation of teaching and learning.

The IBERS MSc Equine Science course was highly valuable and has supported me throughout the past four years. The masters teaches and improves generic as well as specialist skills. All subjects were very interesting and all lecturers taught up-to-date and relevant material. Assessment procedures were generally fair and valid. I thoroughly enjoyed the course.

Particular support and preparation for report writing, meeting deadlines, subject knowledge, critical and evaluative thinking and research techniques was very helpful in preparing me for my current career."
