Brief description

This module is open to all students regardless of their main subject and its aims are to:

  • offer students with GCSE French (or equivalent qualification) an opportunity to continue, or resume the study of French at university level, particularly as an adjunct to their main subjects, and with exchange programmes such as SOCRATES/ERASMUS in mind;
  • make available to a wider constituency the cultural, personal and academic benefits of a better awareness of a major European and international language.
