Learning Outcomes
On completion of the module students will be able to:
1. Describe the structure of the British equine industry;
2. Identify areas of economic importance within the British equine industry;
3. Describe aspects of international equine industries;
4. Analyse equine industries in relation to equine welfare.
Aims
This module will provide students with an introduction to the nature and scope of the equine industry on a world wide scale. The module provides a basic foundation in equine studies which is further developed in a range of other equine related modules.
