Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module students should have:

1) developed their knowledge of the Spanish language to a high level, particularly with regard to their oral and written communicative skills
2) developed confidence in their ability to communicate in front of others and to construct a logical and persuasive discourse in Spanish

Brief description

This module offers an introduction to the linguistic registers of business and current affairs and seeks to provide students with practical vocabulary in such areas as computing, banking, stock exchange and the organization of business enterprises. Use will be made of authentic current affairs materials.
