Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
1. Discuss the position, role and function of the major organs within the body
2. Discuss the differences in the anatomy and physiology of the horse and other related species and also differences between horses (e.g. gender, life stage, breeds)
Brief description
The module will consider the different organs and structures of the body, the relative position of them and their inter-related physiology.
Aims
To give students of Equine Studies a comprehensive understanding of the principles of the anatomy and physiology of the horse.
