The particular topic will be chosen in consultation with a supervisor whom the student will see for at most one hour per week. The main purpose of these tutorials is to ensure that progress on the project has not been impeded by difficulties or misunderstandings and to make such suggestions as seem appropriate.
Aims
To give the student experience of independent study of a topic in Mathematics or Statistics.
Content
The topic and detailed resource material will be arranged in consultation with the supervisor.
