Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of analysis and writing of business plans when provided with the correct information
Demonstrate an understanding of how businesses can integrate into new markets or develop within a market
Brief description
This module builds on the knowledge and skills the student has learnt in the first 5 credit course of the series. The students will learn the basics of business analysis to allow them to assess the strength and weaknesses of a business. They will also learn about the different types of business structures that can be created when starting or developing a business and in the final section of this course they will learn about some of the concepts behind integration of a product into a market or development of of a business into a new part of the supply chain.
Aims
The aim of this microcredential is to develop the knowledge of and skils of the student in how to identify a current business's position and to understand how a business can look to intergrate its product(s) into new markets or develop the business into more areas of its exiting supply chain(s).
