Brief description
This module explores the roles of plant breeding and forage conservation as part of sustainable grassland systems. It also looks at the potential for biorefining grass.
Content
Through a series of online lectures, guided reading and quizzes, students will explore:
- The processes and value of developing new forage crops for use in pasture-based systems.
- Different methods of forage conservation.
- The biorefining potential of grasslands.
