Compare different methods of forage conservation.

Demonstrate an awareness of the biorefining potential of grasslands.

Brief description

This module explores the roles of plant breeding and forage conservation as part of sustainable grassland systems. It also looks at the potential for biorefining grass.


Through a series of online lectures, guided reading and quizzes, students will explore:
- The processes and value of developing new forage crops for use in pasture-based systems.
- Different methods of forage conservation.
- The biorefining potential of grasslands.
