Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this module students should be able to:

  1. Plan and manage practical work that combines critical understanding and increased technical skill of chosen specialism.
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of the workflow from pre-production to post for chosen specialism.
  3. Demonstrate critical reflection one’s own practice and the practice of others.

Brief description

Building on the learning from FM22820 Film Craft 1, this module facilitates practical application of that learning on the students first major collaborative production.

Working both collaboratively and individually students will learn group working skills as well as developing their own unique creative voice. Creative problems will be explored through the application of technical skill.

Content

Through a mixture of seminars and practical workshops, this module will facilitate further knowledge and skill development in the Film Craft and Directing & Producing specialisms through the development and production of a group film. Individual students choose to focus on one skill.
