Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this module students should be able to:

  1. Conduct a literature research and develop a project plan.
  2. Present key themes of the research project in the form of an oral presentation, interpreting and discussing the result in terms of the current knowledge of the research topic.
  3. Present project results in the form of a written report interpreting and discussing the results in terms of the current knowledge of the research topic.

Brief description

Following the literature research and planning during the initial phase of this module, the student carries out a project normally within one of the research groups active in the institute under the supervision of the project supervisor. The results are to be interpreted and discussed in terms of the current knowledge of the research topic, and the work presented both orally and in a formal written report.
