As an Aberystwyth University graduate you can still access the Careers and Employability Service, both online and in person, for up to 3 years after your course end date.

Here are 4 easy steps to help boost your graduate career journey and access our graduate support:

1. Log in to your ABERcareers account

Activate your graduate account to access a wealth of resources, job vacancies, and to book online or in person guidance, and join webinars and events. Log in via the Graduate sign in page, using your personal email address.

2. Talk to us! How to contact us and book careers guidance

For graduate career related queries, please email: gradcareers@aber.ac.uk.

For general career queries, such as obtaining help with any aspect of ABERcareers, CV and application support, please email careers@aber.ac.uk. Or contact: 01970 622378.

Visit the Careers Hub! Find us in Hugh Owen library D Floor 10am-4pm *daily. We can answer quick queries or help you book a longer guidance consultation. (*Please note limited hours out of term time. Email careers@aber.ac.uk to check).

Access our graduate guidance support. We offer 1:1 careers chats and group guidance, in person and online (MS Teams).

To book a 1:1 careers chat, please visit the ABERcareers appointment page to select a date/time to suit you.

Graduate careers chats are an opportunity to informally discuss where you are ‘at’ with your career plans (30 min session). Whether you have no idea, or are ready to explore specific career pathways, we find out what you would most like support with and together produce a bespoke plan of action. We can also help you identify your key graduate skills and personal attributes, and how to market these effectively.

Facilitated by our Careers Advisers, these sessions provide an opportunity for you to meet with other graduates and together find useful information and strategies, as well as increasing your confidence and self-awareness.

3. Get CV, application and interview support

We provide these online tools and in-person support to help you progress from application to success!

Book a mock interview either online or in-person via ABERcareers or email careers@aber.ac.uk. You can use the session to have a full mock interview, or to look at typical questions and practise your answers
