shortlist.me is an interactive AI-powered platform designed to help you develop your employability skills, improve your job applications and build confidence for recruitment process.  

Through a range of learning activities, CV tools and interview practice activities, you can prepare for job applications, assessment centres and interviews at a time that suits you.  

Learning Activities and Aptitude Tests

The platform focuses on learning through realistic scenarios and repeated practice. Its aptitude tests are designed to reflect those used by many employers during recruitment and can help you develop skills such as critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving. 

The activities focus on topic such as:

  •     Numerical and verbal reasoning 
  •     Situational judgement 
  •     Time management 
  •     Leadership and workplace skills 

Each activity only takes a few minutes, allowing you to learn at your own pace.

Your CV is often the first thing an employer sees, which is where CV Co-pilot comes in. This step-by-step toolkit is designed to help you build, improve and tailor a CV that stands out.

CV Co-pilot is a collection of four tools: 

  • CV Creator helps you create a professional CV from scratch by guiding you through a series of questions about your skills, experience and achievements. 
  • CV Optimiser allows you to upload an existing CV and receive feedback on its structure, content, spelling and grammar. 
  • CV Targeter helps you tailor your CV to specific jobs by comparing your experience with a job description and suggesting targeted improvements. 
  • CV Interviewer generates personalised interview questions based on your CV and provides AI-powered feedback to help you prepare for interviews. 

Practice Interviews

Practise your interview skills from the shortlist.me portal using realistic interview scenarios from a range of sectors and career areas. Record your responses, review your performance and receive personalised feedback to help build confidence before a real interview.

Feedback 

After completing a practice interview, you'll receive feedback to help improve your interview technique and confidence. Most feedback is AI-generated and typically becomes available within an hour of completing an activity. Some activities may also include feedback from a member of staff.
