What do you do for work?

I am currently working as research fellow for Media Cymru project at Cardiff University. My studies in Aberystwyth around media in minority languages (Welsh in particular) were fundamental for me to be able to contribute in this project. After my PhD I worked in the Colombian private university sector as senior lecturer.

What was the biggest highlight of studying at Aberystwyth?

Visiting the National Library of Wales everyday for research purposes, engaging in exciting conversations at the Arts Centre and in the pubs, listening to Welsh being spoken in various places and engaging head-on with Welsh culture.

What three words would you use to describe your experience studying at Aberystwyth?

Enlightening, exciting, and unique.

What advice would you give to future students?

To enjoy the location, the National Library and the vibrant university life. To join clubs and visit plays and exhibitions regularly.
