The University provides a comprehensive range of postal services for all departments and units. The service is located in the University Post Room on Penglais Campus. From this centre all the University's external mail is processed and distributed. The internal mail service also operates from the Post Room.
The Post Room is operated on the ethos of a traditional, service department. Therefore, although charges are raised for particular services, these are generally charged at cost to departments. The University has been able to achieve considerable savings on the cost of a number of postal services and these discounts are passed on to departments. Use of the University's postal services can thus save money for your department. Using the most efficient envelope size will ensure postage costs are kept to a minimum.
