I am currently undertaking a PhD in so-called literary psychogeographies supervised by Dr Neal Alexander and Dr Alastair Hemmens, funded by the AHRC. I am interested in ‘psychogeography’ as a (literary) phenomenon, researching iterations of this concept as a praxis / genre since its formulation in the 1950s and 1960s by post-Surrealist Paris-based avant-garde collectives the Lettrist and Situationist International.
