Mr Simon Lovell-Jones MBA (Cardiff University Business School) PGCE (Swansea University) English Literature (Jesus College, Cambridge)

Simon joined Aberystwyth from Cardiff Metropolitan University, following 15 years teaching in Cardiff. He was a sixth form tutor, EPQ coordinator, helped run the school's Oxbridge programme and taught various subjects to A Level, including Maths and German.

He is passionate about helping young people to make their next step in Education and loves giving sessions and workshops in schools and colleges across SE Wales and SW England. These can either be about HE generally (sessions such as Why Bother with Uni? Choosing a Course? Personal Statements and Student Finance) Research Skills, or subject-specific careers sessions in Biology, Criminology, Law, Maths, Psychology, Sociology and Tech - including AI.
