Profile
Dave Powell is an ecologist, whose main interest lies in ecological change particularly in upland habitats. He is also interested in global environmental issues and the role of organisations in the management of the countryside for conservation. Having worked as a field biologist for many years he teaches fieldwork techniques and takes a keen interest in the application of information technology in both teaching and research. He spends his spare time mountain biking and rock climbing.
