Professor Carwyn Jones is a former First Minister of Wales who served in that role from 2009-2018. He also held various Ministerial positions from 2000-2009. Before becoming a member of the Welsh Senedd in 1999 he was a barrister in private practice and was a Professional Tutor on the Bar Vocational Course at Cardiff University.
He joined the department in 2020.
