Education and Student Experience Award
The Education and Student Experience Award (ESEA) is a new fund which has been established to provide support for innovative studies and projects to improve education and the student experience at Aberystwyth University. ESEA is linked to the Annual Education and Student Experience Conference, and colleagues are encouraged to tie their project to the themes of that year's conference. The fund consists of £10K that colleagues can bid for. This fund is made up of £5K from the Education and Student Experience Fund and £5K from the Race Equality Charter Fund.
Proposals need to ensure that they consider the core values of the ESEA:
- Students-as-partners
- Accessible to all
- Welsh language
- Scalability to be adopted by other colleagues and areas across the University
This year's fund is intended to support projects and interventions that are based on ideas discussed at the conference across the following themes:
- Diversifying the curriculum
- Skills, graduate attributes, and real-world application of competencies
- Students as co-creators and collaborators
