Getting to Aberystwyth

Your Postgraduate study at Aberystwyth begins at registration. Information regarding the Postgraduate registration timetable can be found here.
Please remember that you will need to register every September regardless of when you commenced your programme until your studies are complete.
(Non-EEA) International Students: New Students on a Student Visa must send the University’s Compliance Officer all documents they request.
The Compliance team will contact you directly to request the required documentaion which you will need to submit via email.
Aber Card and Email Set-Up
To make use of the library, computing and media services at Aberystwyth University you need an email account and an Aber Card. You will be able to activate your email and apply for your card prior to arriving at the University. If you have completed the application process you will be emailed instructions by Information Services on how to do this. Bank Letters for Non-UK Students
When opening a student bank account in the UK, you may be asked to provide proof that you are a student at Aberystwyth University. This will be in the form of an Introduction to UK Banking Facilities Letter.
Included in this letter will be your home and term time address taken from your student record. You will need to make sure that the University has your correct address details.

Terms and Conditions
All students will be required as a condition of enrolment to abide by and submit to the procedures of the University's Rules, Regulations and Information for Students. These are amended annually and circulated to all students.
