"PhD Researcher in Solar Physics | MHD & Plasma Dynamics Enthusiast | Bridging Machine Learning with Heliophysics | Science Communicator & Educator"
My project is aimed at understanding how the solar atmosphere is heated to >1MK temperatures through the study
of one largely unmapped type of event termed small-scale brightenings, predominantly seen throughout the
chromospheric and the coronal layers, and observed in extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) and X-ray emissions. We will
develop novel methods, including machine learning, to detect and characterise the faintest and smallest brightenings
in image time-series data.
