Jason Bush joined the Department of Psychology at Aberystwyth University as a Lecturer in 2022. His research is situated within the field of positive psychology, with particular emphasis on the conceptualisation of well-being and the application of Q methodology.

He completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology, followed by a Master’s degree in Qualitative Research Methods, at the University of the West of England. Subsequently, he was employed as a Research Assistant at Oxford Brookes University.

Prior to his appointment at Aberystwyth University, Jason held lecturing positions across both Further and Higher Education sectors, working with Bath Spa University, the University of the West of England, and the University of Gloucestershire. He completed his PhD at Aberystwyth University, where his doctoral research examined hedonic, eudaimonic, and lay conceptualisations of well-being through the use of Q methodology.
