Event detailsreunion

Aberystwyth University has many reasons to celebrate this Reunion Weekend, 150 years since the University opened its doors and 130 years of the Old Students Association. Furthermore, several academic departments are also celebrating notable milestones and plan to hold their own departmental events.

Theatre Film and Television Studies celebrating 50 years since the establishment of the Drama Department

Physics and Maths 150 years

Education and English & Creative writing 130 years

Arts Centre 50 years

Comp Sci 50 years (2020)

The Reunion Weekend is an opportunity for Aber alumni, former staff and friends to come together and celebrate our history and successes and hear about future developments.

A chance to reconnect and reminisce with old friends, meet contemporaries, and see what has changed since you were a student here in Aber. Please see below for our provisional programme and a link to register for events. We hope to hold a Student Experience Exhibition throughout the weekend with a digital scanning station on the Saturday, so please do bring your University historical items and share your stories with our archives team.
