University Philanthropy History

Within our vision for the ‘New Life for Old College’ project we have been exploring our tradition of giving in more detail with the help of Dr Susan Davies. Susan is a retired (but still extremely active!) member of staff who has given her research expertise by compiling this history of philanthropic giving to Aber from the 1860s to the 1950s. This is a little gem of research and we are so proud to be sharing it with you in this booklet. We very much hope you will enjoy reading it.
