Profile
Alan is the Digital Content Manager for IBERS and the Biomass Connect project within IBERS, managing website and social media content across the Institute. Prior to this, from 2014 to 2022, he worked in Sport & Exercise Science as a laboratory technician.
He previously studied Geology as an undergraduate and postgraduate at IGES, earning a First-Class Honours degree. After his studies, Alan remained in Aberystwyth and ran his own business as a website developer (http://www.pixelwave.co.uk). He has also worked at the university in various roles, including in the Academic Office, as the website editor and Membership Secretary for Brynamlwg, and as the database manager for the Designing Libraries project within Information Services.
