Alexandra is a PhD student based between the departments of International Politics and Psychology at Aberystwyth University. She studied a BSc(Hons) International Politics and a MA (by research training) Postcolonial Politics at Aberystwyth University. She is the Department of International Politics Postgraduate Representative (2019/20) for the Staff Graduate Consultative Committtee, and for the University's Research Committee.

Also, she is the Postgraduate Representative for BISA's Emotion in Politics and International Relations Working Group.

Thesis Title
"What is a Crisis House?" (working title)

Alexandra is working with the mental health charity Platfform on her PhD, which focuses on understandings of crisis houses and there implications for mental health policy.
