Aberystwyth University has achieved Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation

Information Services continues to mitigate the risk from common internet-based threats through cyber essentials accreditation achieved in November 2020 and now also cyber essentials plus accreditation, following an audit by a 3rd party accredited as a testing authority for ISAME. Cyber Essentials is a government-backed, industry supported IT Security compliance scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common cyber attacks and accreditation is now a requirement of most Welsh Government funding.
