Graduate in English Studies by the University of Valencia, I have a MA in Comparative Literature and Critical Theories (University of Birmingham) and a Master's Degree in Education (PGCE equivalent), with a specialisation in foreign language acquisition. I am also a Instituto Cervantes DELE examiner. 

Prior to joining Aberystwyth, I taught Spanish at the University of Birmingham, Warwickshire College Group and Coventry University. 

Additionally, I am pursuing PhD studies at the University of Glasgow, researching gender in Spanish science fiction and fantasy literature.
