Aberystwyth University’s Graduation Ceremonies, which commence today (Tuesday 10 July), will see around 2,180 students graduate by the end of the week.

The ceremonies take place at Aberystwyth’s Arts Centre from Tuesday 10 until Friday 13 July.

Aberystwyth University’s Vice Chancellor, Professor April McMahon, said: “I would like to congratulate all those who are graduating from Aberystwyth University this week – this is a very important time and in many ways, the highlight of our university year.

“This will be a very special day for me as it will be my first Graduation Ceremony as Vice Chancellor, and I look forward to addressing each and every graduate and to wishing them well in the future.”

Sir Emyr Jones Parry, President of Aberystwyth University, added, “This is a very special time for us all. For the graduands, it is the culmination of many years of hard work and effort. The staff and officers of Aberystwyth University salute their achievements and we wish them every fulfilment as they go on to the next stage of their lives, with a fresh page on which to write a new chapter.”
