125. Improving Applicability of Nature-Inspired Optimisation by Joining Theory and Practice

We have been leading a COST Action, an international cooperation of 32 mostly European countries, to bring together researchers applying nature-inspired optimisation heuristics like evolutionary algorithms and ant colony optimisation with theoreticians in the area to improve our understanding and the applicability of these powerful tools.
