Campus Sports

Introduction

Campus sports takes place during the first two weeks of the school summer holidays. Campus Sports is fun, games and sporting activities for children aged 8-14years. The camps are an ideal venue for your children to spend time during the school vacation. Learning new skills, meeting other children, letting off some of the boundless energy and having loads of fun under the safe supervision of our qualified staff.

Groups

The children are divided into groups according to their age/or ability. They will be able to participate in five or six activities each day that have been selected to give a balanced programme. This all helps to create a warm, happy atmosphere where each child will receive group and individual tuition and make new friends.

Times

Monday to Friday 9am-4pm (there will be 20 minutes at the start and at the end of each day allocated to registering and releasing the children).

Food

Each child should bring his/her own packed lunch, including a drink. We provide a drink and biscuits for the morning and afternoon breaks.

What's Needed

Lunch & drink, towel, spare sports kit, trainers and loads of energy!

Activities

The sporting facilities comprise of two large sports halls, an all weather pitch and extensive grass rugby, football, hockey and cricket pitches, a golf practise area, a swimming pool, nine tennis/courts, three squash courts and a dance studio. All these facilities are on the Penglais Campus or Vicarage Fields. By providing a balanced programme with plenty of variety we cater for a wide range of abilities and include both those children who are sport enthusiasts and those who want to have fun whilst learning new skills.
