Image Menus

Image Menus can be used to display several links in a graphical way. Users can click on the images or the text to visit the linked page. 

There are three main types of image menus used in the CMS:

What's Required?

Before creating your small standard image menu, you should undertake the following preparation:

  • Select the images for your image menu;
  • Confirm the link text required for your image menu;
  • Confirm the links required for your image menu;
  • Edit the images so that each image is 120px wide;
  • Upload the images into the Media Library of the CMS.

How To?

CMS users can create their small standard image menu by following the instructions provided in Information Sheet 15.

What's Required?

Before creating your large standard image menu, you should undertake the following preparation:

  • Select the images for your image menu;
  • Confirm the link text required for your image menu;
  • Confirm the links required for your image menu;
  • Edit the images so that each image is 250px wide
  • Upload the images into the Media Library of the CMS.

How To?

CMS users can create their small standard image menu by following the instructions provided in Information Sheet 15.

New Style Image Menu

 

What's Required?

Before creating your new style image menu, you should undertake the following preparation:

  • Select the images for your image menu;
  • Confirm the link text required for your image menu;
  • Confirm the links required for your image menu;
  • Edit the images so that each image is 336px wide and 388px high;
  • Ensure that you have Moderator permissions in the CMS, as this style can only be created by Moderators;
  • Ensure that the following content templates are available in the section in which you wish to place your image menu:
    • Display Image Menu;
    • Image Menu Item (internal);
    • Image Menu Item (external);
    • Image Menu + Text Item (internal).
