The Centre for the Development of Staff and Academic Practice (CDSAP) designs and delivers much of the educational and professional development of staff at the University. CDSAP provides an annual programme of continuing professional development (CPD) sessions, events and workshops, but also delivers a number of accredited programmes of study, including the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education (PGCTHE), the Effective Leadership and Leading in Universities modules. CDSAP also plays a part in organisational development and manages the Recognition Scheme for awarding HEA fellowships. CDSAP also works closely with the Graduate School to organise the Aberystwyth Researcher programme - a unified skills and development provision, focussed on the needs of early career researchers.
