Dr Praboda Rajapaksha

In her capacity as a Lecturer in Health Data Science and an Honorary Data Scientist in the UK, she possesses extensive expertise encompassing Generative AI, Language Modeling, NLP, Deep Learning, and Data Analysis. Her professional journey has been marked by the application of diverse AI techniques across various research domains, including Data Analytics (covering social media, news, healthcare, and video data), as well as engagement in Digital Twin operations and the planning of Smart Cities.

Her active participation in many European projects (ITEA, BPI, Horizon), French national projects (FUI), and industrial collaborations attest to her unwavering dedication to practical and impactful research, fostering collaborative relationships with both academic and non-academic partners. Of notable significance is her passion for exploring the potential of cutting-edge Generative AI models and their real-world applications within the healthcare sector.
